Sign-by-Text is how PinOnIt collects a signature without an email envelope. The request is a normal SMS. The other person does not install an app or create a PinOnIt account.
They open the link, enter a 6-digit code we text to the same number, read the document, check ESIGN consent, and draw a signature with a finger. You get the signed file plus an audit record: verified number, timestamps, IP and user agent, document hash, and signature image.
Use it for waivers, NDAs, addendums, and job sign-offs. Do not use it for wills, notarized deeds, or closings that need several signers.
